Supporting Local Farmers
We are committed to supporting local farmers in Botswana through our livestock procurement department.
Our cattle are acquired from established and emerging farmers from all corners of the country. We source grass-fed, grass-finished and feedlot-finished cattle which are graded on a 5-tier system similar to that of the Botswana Livestock and Beef Industry Act.
We are also working to help develop and expand the pork industry in Botswana by buying locally produced porkers, baconers and sausage pigs. We are currently the largest national processor of pork-related products.
We continue to support the small stock industry by buying goat, lamb and mutton from farmers nationwide throughout the year.
