As we are all aware of the Coronavirus COVID-19 worldwide pandemic, we are all confronted with a lot of unknown factors and scenarios. At Senn Foods, the safety and well-being of our employees and customers is and has always been our priority and we will do our very best to prevent any contamination from happening in any of our facilities. We recognize the continuous need in providing our customers and our proud nation with the best quality products. We are monitoring the Coronavirus – COVID-19 situation and have already taken steps to keep our employees and customers safe.

Monitoring updates from local and global public health authorities

We are closely monitoring updates from the Ministry of Health and Wellness, and the World Health Organization website regarding COVID-19. We will continuously seek guidance from public health officials, government and global agencies and implement any steps as suggested by these agencies.

Protecting our employees and customers

We have been in the industry for the past 35 years have a very comprehensive Food Safety Management Plan in place, in which personal and environmental hygiene plays a major role. Some of our employees come into direct contact with our customers, to this end we have taken additional steps to limit the chance of contamination. Our Factory Shops have increased the frequency of sanitizing, and we have added hygiene workstations and cashier hygiene stations. We have also implemented the sanitizing of hands for all customers entering our outlets.

Hygiene Practices in the working environment are our top priority and we have Standard Operating Procedures in place to ensure these practices are adhered to.

We are continuously communicating with our employees as to the importance of personal hygiene and providing them with the necessary training and equipment to ensure their safety and that of our customers and suppliers.
